Today a woman named mellisa colelinski was taking care of a sixteen month old kid who would not stop crying. The baby kept crying, she couldn't get it to stop, so Mellisa decided to throw the baby on the ground. Once the baby hit the ground it fractured it's skull. Mellisa then walked away. Then the sixteen month old child took it's blanket and went over to it's compfort area where it died. This rattled me, I mean what kind of person does that to a baby, a little defenceless baby, someone who doesn't even know whats going on.
Also a few days ago a plane flying over New York City had both of it's engines blow out and the pilot announced over the intercom that they would be having a rough and unscheduled landing and that everyone was to put on their seatbelts. He then cooley glided into the Hudson river. This really was a miracle, all 115 people aboard the plane lived and the most servear injury was one man recieved two broken bones. God truely was with these people aboard this plane. There were some reports of people in New York being terrified, because they remember what happened the last time a plane came in that low over their city. But all I can say is, I'm glad everyone is alright and I wish those injured the best of luck.

Robert, I'm glad you followed up that horrifying story about the wretched babysitter with the uplifting story about the wonderful pilot.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite extracurricular activities are sleeping, running, and knitting. Also thinking up ways to make my 8th graders unhappy.
GREAT blog.
